205 House Republicans just voted against a bill that would protect a woman’s ability to travel to another state to access reproductive care. These loyal MAGA footsoldiers opposed a measure designed to protect people like the 10-year-old rape victim in Ohio, who was forced to cross state lines to receive an abortion when her home state implemented a draconian 6-week ban.

The Guardian: “10-year-old rape victim forced to travel from Ohio to Indiana for abortion”

As if that weren’t enough, every single GOP member voted down a separate bill that would codify Roe v. Wade and restore the right to an abortion for all Americans.

The Washington Post: “The House on Friday passed legislation that would protect access to reproductive health care… One bill, the Women’s Health Protection Act, would enshrine the protections of Roe v. Wade into law… All Republicans voted against the measure.”

Let’s not forget: A majority of Americans, including independents, oppose the Supreme Court’s outrageous decision to strip Americans of their constitutional rights.

Republicans at all levels have made clear that overturning Roe v. Wade was just the beginning. The GOP must answer to voters for their extreme positions.
