In a direct contrast against Tudor Dixon’s vision for a “family-friendly” Michigan, the gubernatorial candidate was seen smiling and campaigning with well-known “credibly accused” child sexual abuser Frank Lenz.

According to reporting from 2018 now-former priest Frank Lenz of the Diocese of Marquette was placed on “administrative leave” following a “credible accusation of sexual misconduct with a minor.” Tudor Dixon said “protecting our children” against sexual predators was a key component of her campaign, and one of the first “plans” she laid out. But now she’s posing with someone accused of horrific abuse of a child. Michigan Democratic Party Spokesperson Alyssa Bradley released the following statement:“Tudor Dixon continues to show her blatant disregard for sexual abuse survivors. From wanting to force them to give birth because she thinks they can ‘find healing’ in the baby to smiling with an abuser, it’s clear her rhetoric is just for show. If campaigning with a known sexual abuser is Tudor Dixon’s idea of a ‘family-friendly’ Michigan, we’re not interested.”
