As Republicans’ draconian abortion bans go into effect today in Idaho, Tennessee, and Texas, the Democratic National Committee is launching a new digital ad buy highlighting the GOP’s plans to outlaw abortion across the country. The ads will run in Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania – reminding voters of the stakes of November’s elections when Republicans are pushing heavy restrictions or bans on abortion.
“About 20 million women have already had their reproductive freedom taken from them in their home states, and extreme Republicans across the country remain hellbent on passing even more restrictions,” said DNC Chair Jaime Harrison. “Democrats will continue to remind voters that if Republicans gain power this November, they will go even further than overturning Roe and work to take away the freedom for millions more women to make their own health care decisions.”
