DNC Chair Jaime Harrison and DNC Ethnic Council Chair Jim Zogby released the following statement:

“259 years ago today, the world’s first St. Patrick’s Day parade took place in New York City and became an honored and well-loved tradition replicated across hundreds of cities to celebrate our nation’s Irish heritage. Although we are not able to gather in person for St. Patrick’s Day this year, we commemorate the resilience, heart and leadership of our Irish-American brothers and sisters, who have contributed so much to our communities. May good luck be with you wherever you go.”
