Last night, DNC Senior Advisor Cedric Richmond appeared on Don Lemon Tonight to highlight President Joe Biden’s work in helping craft the Inflation Reduction Act — historic legislation that will tackle inflation and lower costs for hardworking American families.
This deal will lower prescription drug costs, lower health insurance costs for 13 million Americans by an average of $800 per year, and reduce the national deficit.
Richmond: “[The Inflation Reduction Act] is going to lower prescription drug costs… and we’re going to continue to work to make sure that we are addressing the needs of working families… This just shows what a dedicated and focused president can accomplish when you work at it… Come November of this year, I think that you will see Americans make a choice between one extreme party and another party that’s actually looking to make corporations pay their fair share, reduce the deficit, and help families… And if you look at this party, the alternative is extreme.”
