ICYMI: DNC Chair Jaime Harrison Joins Georgia Democrats to Get Out the Vote in Atlanta

Democratic National Committee Chair Jaime Harrison traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to campaign with Georgia Democrats on Friday to help encourage voters to cast their ballots early in the November election.

Throughout the day, Chair Harrison met with Black clergy members to discuss the investments the DNC is making in mobilizing Black voters in Georgia and across the country; launched a canvass kick-off group in East Point with the Chair of the Democratic Party of Georgia, Congresswoman Nikema Williams, and other local leaders; knocked doors; and stopped by local barbershops to share the importance of exercising your voice at the polls, particularly for Black men.

The stop was part of a series of get-out-the-vote events with Chair Harrison to encourage voters to make a plan to vote and support Democrats up and down the ballot in the midterm elections.

Chair Harrison participated in a breakfast with Black pastors to discuss getting out the vote in faith communities, and across Georgia.

Chair Harrison attended a canvass kickoff with Congresswoman Nikema Williams, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, and other local leaders.

Chair Harrison joined Congresswoman Williams to knock on doors and talk to voters in East Point.

Chair Harrison stopped by barbershops with attorney general candidate Jen Jordan to discuss the importance of voting, particularly for Black men.
