Across the country, voters woke up to news this morning that nonfarm payroll employment increased by a staggering 531,000 jobs in October and the unemployment rate dropped to a new pandemic low, in the latest signs that President Biden and Democrats’ economic plan is working. Now, we have an opportunity to build on that progress by passing President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda that will cut costs for working families, create jobs, invest in our infrastructure and boost our economy, not to mention — give middle and working-class families one of the largest tax cuts in history.

Here’s what Americans across the country were reading this week about how the Build Back Better agenda will build an economy that works for everyone — not just those at the top:

Meanwhile, with grants for small businesses, a historic middle-class tax cut, and more Americans getting vaccinated, the American Rescue Plan continues to deliver for communities across the country. According to the Detroit Free Press, families across the country are able to use the expanded Child Tax Credit payments made possible by President Biden and Democrats to “catch up after falling behind on bills; cover the family’s monthly car lease payment and cell phone bill; pay health insurance premiums; pay for costs associated with sports, including travel hockey; set aside a little extra savings toward college; and deal with everyday school expenses.”

In Georgia: Albany Herald: CAMIA HOPSON: Albany is bouncing back thanks to Biden’s American Rescue Plan

And millions of parents all over the country breathed a sigh of relief as President Biden announced that the United States reached a turning point in our battle against COVID-19 as the FDA authorized the emergency use of a safe, effective vaccine for children ages 5-11.
