This week, Democrats are once again delivering on our agenda of helping working families. Yesterday, tens of millions of American families covering nearly 60 million children began to see their first monthly Child Tax Credit payment hit their bank accounts or arrive in the mail. Thanks to President Biden and Democrats’ leadership, the Child Tax Credit has been expanded, providing hardworking families with more breathing room to cover expenses and pay the bills. The contrast couldn’t be clearer: While Democrats are putting more money in the pockets of families with children, Republicans unanimously voted against this tax cut.

Yesterday, as the expanded Child Tax Credit’s monthly payments started going out across the country, the Democratic National Committee launched a new ad campaign with the DSCC and DCCC across battleground states to promote this middle-class tax cut.

Here’s a look at what voters are reading about Democrats’ middle-class tax cuts in local media across key states:

Middle-class tax cuts weren’t the only thing Democrats were focused on delivering this week. Leaders across the country–including the bipartisan U.S. Conference of Mayors–voiced their support for the bipartisan infrastructure framework, which will make life better for millions of Americans, create a generation of good-paying union jobs and economic growth, and position the United States to win the 21st century.
