Last night, Kevin McCarthy’s “close adviser” and MAGA Republican extremist Marjorie Taylor Greene reminded Americans just how far-right MAGA Republicans are — doubling down on conspiracy theories and an out of touch agenda.

Marjorie Taylor Greene tried to whitewash her lie about the Parkland school shooting — and was then fact checked in real time, while also doubling down on election denialism.

CBS: “Lesley Stahl: Did you apologize for your position on Parkland, Florida?

Marjorie Taylor Greene: What was my position on Parkland, Florida?

Lesley Stahl: That it was a false flag—

Marjorie Taylor Greene: I don’t know if you actually have my– No, I never said Parkland was a false flag. No, I’ve never said that. …

Lesley Stahl: We fact-checked before I got to this interview.”

CBS: “She also still calls the 2020 election stolen as she made clear in February.”

Greene also doubled down on her out of touch positions, including wanting to ban abortion nationwide, defund law enforcement, and undermine our support for Ukraine.

CBS: “Lesley Stahl: Okay. Here are some of the things you’ve said: … that abortion should be banned nationally. That you wanna defund the FBI. … You’ve said those things, correct?

Marjorie Taylor Greene: Yeah, these are– these are some of my views.”

CBS: Marjorie Taylor Greene: “It’s not about what’s right and wrong in Ukraine.”

Let’s be clear: This is today’s MAGA Republican Party, and Marjorie Taylor Greene is front and center.
