Jodey Arrington: “I’d like that to be the law of the land”

Today’s MAGA Hot Mic moment comes from Texas GOP Rep. Jodey Arrington. 

Jodey Arrington confirms what we’ve already known — overturning Roe was just the first step, and he wants to bring Texas’s abortion ban with NO exceptions for rape or incest to the rest of the country. 

Everything Lubbock: “U.S. Representative Jodey Arrington of Lubbock said Thursday that he is working on introducing a federal ban on abortion modeled after one passed by Texas.”

The Hill: “‘I’m working on it actually, right now,’ Arrington said Thursday at a press conference. ‘I’d like to have that [Texas’s law] the law of the land and I think that is the ideal for me.’”

Across the country Republicans are reminding Americans what’s at stake if they gain power.
