As Republicans nationwide struggle for cash and Trump’s operation in critical battleground states is nowhere to be found, the Wisconsin GOP chair is attempting to clean up after new reporting about the RNC closing an office on the ground and Wisconsin Republicans being drastically outraised under Trump’s leadership. In response, Democratic National Committee Spokesperson Adeline Toevs released the following statement:

“Donald Trump and his MAGA allies in the Wisconsin GOP can’t spin their way out of their abysmal ground game or their extreme, unpopular agenda. Badger State voters know this, and they will reject Trump and MAGA Republicans’ plan to ban abortion nationwide, raise costs on working families, and rip away Americans’ freedoms this November.”

Wisconsin Republicans have been overwhelmingly outraised over the past year.

WisPolitics: “The state Dem Party has outraised its GOP counterpart 15-to-1 over the first three months of 2024 — a huge resource advantage ahead of what’s expected to be a fierce battle for legislative seats this fall.”

“Last year, with both parties heavily involved in a state Supreme Court race that flipped control to liberals for the first time in 15 years, the fundraising disparity was more than 4-to-1 in Dems’ favor.”

Trump’s RNC is so broke that they closed their Hispanic outreach center in Milwaukee. On the bright side, Milwaukee got a new ice cream shop.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: “If the Republican National Committee wants to reopen its Hispanic outreach center in Milwaukee this cycle, it’s going to need to find a new space. The center’s former location will soon be an ice cream shop. New tenants took over the building in Milwaukee’s south side Lincoln Village neighborhood last June after the RNC declined to renew its lease, a real estate representative for the building’s owner told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel this week. And the new occupants have plans to open an ice cream shop at the location sometime this spring.”
