|In a clear indication that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has lost control of his caucus, and that it’s now run by extremists like Marjorie Taylor Greene, McCarthy is laying the groundwork to push Liz Cheney out of his leadership team because she refuses to go along with the Big Lie.
“Kevin McCarthy’s cowardice knows no bounds. His party has been taken over by conspiracy theorists and someone under investigation for underage sex trafficking. Instead of holding them accountable, he’s trying to kick out one of the only members who doesn’t subscribe to the Big Lie that led to people losing their lives. While the Republican Party is an absolute mess, Democrats remain laser focused on delivering for Americans, building a booming economy, and getting America back on track.” – DNC spokesperson Ammar Moussa
In just a week, Kevin McCarthy has taken more action to chastise one of his members for telling the truth than he has to hold Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Paul Gosar, or any of the other extremists in the House GOP accountable.
