LANSING — Today, the Michigan Democratic Party announced the expansion of its communications operation, hiring Alyssa Bradley to serve as Rapid Response Director for the 2022 election cycle. In this role, she will focus on highlighting how President Biden and Democrats are helping Michiganders across the state.
“We are excited to continue growing our communications team, and we’re thrilled to have Alyssa on board to help spread the message of how the Biden-Harris administration and Democrats in Michigan are helping us build back better,” said Lavora Barnes, Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party. “Alyssa brings a wealth of experience with her background in advocacy communications and work with nonprofit and political organizations. As our team continues to grow, the MDP is in an excellent position as we head into the 2022 midterm elections.”

Alyssa most recently served as an Account Coordinator for Fenton Communications, a full-service communications agency working with non-profits and brands to take on the world’s toughest challenges in human rights, social and economic justice, environment, education and public health.
Alyssa joins the Michigan Democratic Party’s growing communications team, which includes Communications Director Abby Rubley, Press Secretary Charmine Yates, and Senior Communications Advisor Rodericka Applewhaite.
