This week, the DNC War Room released a new television ad, “Infecting Us,” that hits Trump for holding potential superspreader campaign rallies that threaten to worsen the spread of coronavirus in North Carolina instead of coming up with a plan to slow the spread of the virus and save lives.

The new ad comes ahead of Trump’s Wednesday rally near Charlotte. Part of a six-figure buy, the ad will air starting on Wednesday in the Charlotte media market.

“North Carolinians are struggling through crisis after crisis, from a worsening pandemic to a crumbling economy,” said DNC Chair Tom Perez. “But instead of getting to work and helping North Carolina families, Donald Trump is behaving like nothing’s wrong. He doesn’t have a plan to save North Carolinians’ lives and livelihoods — he’s too focused on helping himself. More than ever, we need competent, decisive leadership in the White House. That’s why North Carolinians across the state are going to IWillVote.com, making a plan to vote, and choosing to build back better with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.”
