A memo from Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America sent to Republican lawmakers shows how depsperate Republicans are to spin their extreme plans on abortion. But it’s too late — Republicans are already on the record that they want to make abortion illegal across the country, force 10-year-old rape victims to give birth, and even ban some forms of birth control.

Here are just a few examples of Republicans going on the record with their extreme and out-of-touch views on abortion:

Idaho Capital Sun: “No exception for life of mother included in Idaho GOP’s abortion platform language”

Washington Post: “The House on Friday passed legislation that would protect access to reproductive health care… One bill, the Women’s Health Protection Act, would enshrine the protections of Roe v. Wade into law… All [House] Republicans voted against the measure.”

Washington Post: “Montana state Rep. Brad Tschida (R) is arguing that a woman’s womb ‘serves no specific purpose to her life or well-being.’”

GOP lawmakers can’t message their way out of this — they must answer to the American people for their record on abortion.
