The American people have spoken, the courts have ruled, and now the Electoral College will officially confirm Joe Biden as the winner of the election. It’s long past time for Trump to accept the reality that he lost an election that wasn’t even close, and end his laughable lawsuits and dangerous attacks against our democracy.

The Electoral College will officially mark Biden as the winner, and it’s long past time for Trump and Republicans to acknowledge reality.

Wall Street Journal Editorial Board: “The Electoral College meets Monday to cast its votes for President, officially marking Joe Biden as the election winner. President Trump’s legal challenges have run their course, and he and the rest of the Republican Party can help the country and themselves by acknowledging the result and moving on.”

At least 86 judges across the country have ruled against Trump or his allies in near-unanimity, including another judge over the weekend.

Washington Post: “In a remarkable show of near-unanimity across the nation’s judiciary, at least 86 judges — ranging from jurists serving at the lowest levels of state court systems to members of the United States Supreme Court — rejected at least one post-election lawsuit filed by Trump or his supporters, a Washington Post review of court filings found.”

CNBC: “A federal judge in Wisconsin on Saturday bluntly dismissed a lawsuit filed by President Donald Trump challenging Joe Biden’s win in that state, further cementing Biden’s victory in the national presidential election.”

A vast majority of Americans agree that the election is “over and settled,” Biden is the “legitimate winner,” and it’s time for Trump to “move on.”

CBS News: “With the Electoral College poised to elect Joe Biden on Monday, a sizable 62% majority of the nation’s voters feel the election is ‘over and settled’ and it’s ‘time to move on.’ Large majorities feel their own votes were counted correctly, and a majority acknowledge Mr. Biden as the ‘legitimate winner.’”

Yet Trump refuses to concede and plans to continue to attack our democracy even after the Supreme Court and Electoral College solidify his defeat.

Washington Post: “After Supreme Court dismisses Texas case, Trump says his efforts to challenge election results are ‘not over’”

Fox News: “President Trump vowed that he and his campaign ‘are going to continue to go forward’ with their legal challenges against November’s election results, despite the Electoral College getting set to cast their votes on Monday.”
