CNBC: “The first CEO to speak was Ham, who said Food Lion’s supply chain was ‘strong and robust, and we have ample product inside of our stores.’” Axios: “Etsy CEO Josh Silverman, who met with President Biden in that meeting, told Axios that he’s ‘heartened’ by the administration’s infrastructure investments.” Reuters: “Walmart CEO says Biden supply chain push is easing bottlenecks” CNBC: “McMillon said Walmart had seen a 26% increase in throughput at ports nationwide in the past 4 weeks, with an even higher rate of increased flow through, 51%, at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.” CNBC’s Carl Quintanilla: “VOLKSWAGEN CEO SAYS WORST OF SUPPLY CHAIN ISSUES BEHIND US, SEEING LIGHT INCREASE IN PRODUCTION VOLUMES” Mattel CEO: “I was very impressed and encouraged by the keen interest in real partnership the president, and the administration as a whole, is demonstrating in supporting the private sector and collaborating with retailers and suppliers to make sure there is enough product on shelves for the holiday season.
